We Recycle!
Offset Printing is undeniably a resource intense business. Tri-State Printing Co. is committed to doing our part to minimize the negative impact on the environment. Over the past several years, TSP has made amazing strides in working to make this a reality. Some of these include:
- Committing to recycling 100% of our scrap paper and donating the proceeds to local schools
- Installing Direct to Plate Image Setters and Chemistry Free Prepress to cut out the chemicals and film used in older, less environmentally friendly production process
- Performed Energy Audit and Replaced Lighting to make use of energy efficient ballast and bulbs throughout entire production area and office space
- Recycling all of the aluminum plates used in daily production
- Using soy-based inks that make use of renewable resources
- Sourcing and offering recycled paper substrates as an option
